Bryce D. Tellmann is an assistant professor in the Department of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences at South Dakota School of Mines & Technology. He is a rhetorician, historian, and regionalist whose work focuses on how discourse has shaped our understanding of the Northern Plains in the past and the present. Raised on a dairy farm in North Dakota, Tellmann now lives in Rapid City with his wife and two daughters.
