Our Special Program celebrates the passage of the 19th Amendment giving women the right to vote. Stepping into the past in order to move forward !

At this Gathering, Author Angelica Shirley Carpenter will share the story of Matilda Joslyn Gage, from the book Born
Criminal. We will also have displays & History San Jose guests who will tell the local history about suffrage. Plus we’ll
look at some of our Presbyterian Women who led a similar campaign within the church.
